Who is Fairway Marketing?

Fairway Marketing Solutions is the product of a seed that was nourished by Running Specialty and Consumer Electronics, namely Garmin, over 15 years ago. During this time the brick and mortar retail environment began to shift into something different, and formidable. Through several years of territory management and extensive travel, a staple of our development was solidified - which is the realization that service and the value of that service will beat price - apples-to-apples - 9/10 times.

Take that into the Outdoor and Hunting industry with Vista Outdoor and soak in the exposure Sales Operations offers for a fast paced, complex and volatile industry. We cut teeth on pricing strategy, accruals, influencer marketing, digital asset management and building programs with new Farm & Home, DIY and Hardware channels from the ground up. Vista provided ample opportunities to grow and be aggressive in our channels - while showcasing the importance of strategy, timing and execution - only now, execution meant in-store AND online.

Enter COVID - where consumer behaviors that were already shifting were shoved into new normals. Retailers that were nimble and forward thinking thrived despite the many challenges. Retailers that were not adapting paid in market share.

Fairway Marketing’s identity had taken shape and form by the time the world began to secure its footing post-COVID. At which time we were working with Home Depot, ACE Hardware, True Value, Orgill, Lowe’s, SCJ, P&G, and many others. Finding success at this level can happen for a year or two, sustained success is purposeful AND strategic and requires action, conviction and attention to detail.

Blending the various exposures and learnings through the years has led to the point where Fairway Marketing Solutions exists to fill a need in our ever changing world of retail. A world where indecision is the worst decision, we understand that balancing quick responses and accurate work is an art with a little give-and-take.
